Shenyang conference focuses on 5G applications

The 2nd Liaoning Mobile Information Exhibition Conference was held at Shenyang New World Expo in Shenyang, capital of Northeast China’s Liaoning province, from May 31 to June 2.

Themed around 5G technology, the conference was hosted by China Mobile Liaoning Company.

Representatives from government bodies and communications companies, as well as experts in the 5G sector participated in the event, sharing viewpoints on topics such as the influence of 5G development on industries and social progress, and how 5G development is driving the digital economy.

The event featured three exhibitions and seven sub-forums, showcasing the latest 5G technologies and providing platforms for experts to exchange opinions.

Lang Kuiping, general manager of China Mobile Liaoning Company, said that the conference was aimed at deepening cooperation and achieving progress in the communications sector in the 5G era.

The company has already established more than 200 5G test base stations in Liaoning province, including those in 5G applications demonstration areas such as Shenyang International Software Park, Shenyang BMW Brilliance plants, and airports and railway stations in Shenyang and Dalian.

As its next step, the company will boost development of the 5G sector to make a contribution to the progress of the country’s digital economy, Lang added.
