The 6th Shenyang’s intangible cultural heritage exposition will open at Huangsi cultural square in Shenyang, Northeast China’s Liaoning province on June 7, to celebrate Cultural and Natural Heritage Day, which falls on June 8 this year, according to the Shenyang municipal government.
Covering an area of 6,000 square meters, the expo will feature 200 exhibition stands divided into six categories, showcasing traditional arts and traditional skills such as shadow puppetry.
With the theme of “China’s efforts in intangible cultural heritage protection”, the three-day expo will also launch a series of activities to share the country’s and Shenyang’s achievements in heritage protection.
