Zheshang Magazine, a leading financial magazine focusing on Zhejiang businessmen, released a list of the top 100 Ningbo companies at the 2019 Zheshang Investment and Finance Summit Ningbo on June 1.
The list ranked the companies according to their revenues last year and shows that each recorded revenue of at least 710 million yuan ($102.72 million).
Twenty-three companies each generated more than 10 billion yuan of revenue, and the top 10 companies' revenue aggregated at 518.25 billion yuan, or 57 percent of the total of 914.16 billion yuan.
The top 10 companies were spread over the textiles, electronics, chemicals engineering and mechanical equipment sectors.
In terms of industries, conglomerates claimed the largest share, at 18, followed by the mechanical equipment and automobile industries, at 15 and 11, respectively.
The summit, hosted by Zheshang Magazine, the national council of the magazine and the World Zheshang Network, saw a gathering of more than 300 entrepreneurs, academics and Zhejiang businessmen who shared their insights into China's economic development as well as opportunities and challenges faced by private companies nowadays.
