Beiben Trucks Group Co signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Inner Mongolia Baogang Steel Union Logistics Co, according to a June 3 report in the Baotou Daily.
In addition, the two sides signed a purchase contract for 22 Beiben dump trucks -- designed for carrying bulk material, often on building sites -- at the signing ceremony.
Funded by seven companies -- including China North Industries Group, China North Industries Corporation, and Inner Mongolia First Machinery Group -- Beiben Trucks Group Co is a Baotou-based truck manufacturer that is on the fast track to further success, boasting total assets currently of 15.3 billion yuan ($2.22 billion).
The company has advanced vehicle assembly, cab, frame and axle production lines, utilizing 2,218 sets of various types of equipment, including 252 sets of imported equipment. Specialized production lines and manufacturing equipment have ensured the excellent quality of the company’s products.
The company is one of the first heavy truck manufacturers in China to obtain the ISO9001 industrial quality standard, GJB9001B standard quality system certification, national automotive product CCC certification and ISO14001 environmental system certification.
