Forty-two e-commerce industrial bases in Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province, have been named on the 2018 Zhejiang Provincial E-Commerce Industrial Base list, which was recently announced by the provincial department of commerce.
The list includes a total of 326 e-commerce industrial bases across the province.
Ningbo has been committed to establishing industrial bases in recent years to promote its e-commerce development.
Statistics show that the city established 71 e-commerce industrial parks last year, 37 of which cover an area of 10,000 square meters or above and 11 of which recorded sales revenues of more than 1 billion yuan ($145 million).
It also set up two national and four provincial e-commerce demonstration bases, four national e-commerce entrepreneurship centers, and 14 municipal e-commerce demonstration parks.
The city plans to further promote the transformation and upgrading of e-commerce industrial parks, improving public services such as training, logistics, management and technologies, and strengthening cooperation between the parks and enterprises.
