Quzhou elements shine at National Mind Sports Games

Most representative elements of Quzhou in East China's Zhejiang province will be showcased at the opening and closing ceremonies of the National Mind Sports Games to be held in the city in November.

Quzhou elements will be the highlight of the opening ceremony, according to the director Luo Kege.

The ceremony will integrate Confucius, chess pieces, Happy Deer - Quzhou's mascot - and Grandpa Nankong, a cartoon image of Confucius, to show the city's profound history and culture.

Luo said that the two ceremonies together will display a beautiful China, smart Zhejiang and garden city Quzhou.

Luo is good at producing works based on native culture and has designed performances for Jiuhua Mountain in Anhui province and Emei Mountain in Sichuan province.

In 2018, his performance Harvest Festival was staged at the China pavilion of the China International Import Expo.
