The first batch of exhibits for the upcoming China CEEC Expo arrived in Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province, on May 30.
Ningbo Customs reviewed and released 738 kilograms of commodities worth 1,229 euros, including wines, liquors, beers and jams from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Lithuania and Estonia.
"We contacted exhibitors in advance and informed them of the necessary procedures and materials for customs clearance so that their commodities can enter the city smoothly," said a local customs official.
Ningbo has been holding the annual China CEEC Expo since 2015. Over the past five years, Ningbo Customs has kept improving its supervision services for the expo and has set up a comprehensive logistics center for exhibits from Central and Eastern European Countries.
