Peony flowers delight Shenyang residents

Locals are irresistibly drawn to the fields to admire the now-flourishing peony at Shenyang Expo Garden in Shenyang, in Northeast China's Liaoning province. Peonies at the park started to bloom in mid-May, attracting large numbers of visitors and photographers. The park's peonies cover an area of some 11,000 square meters, and since 1995, a peony flower festival has been held every May there. [Photo by Liu Dongxu/Xinhua]
