More than 20 projects, with an estimated total contract value of over 60 billion yuan (8.6 billion U. S. dollars), of the China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) kicked off today will be signed at venue in Chaoyang district, according to Chaoyang District Commerce Bureau.
As one sub venue of CIFTIS, Chaoyang district, will host a "Belt and Road" promotion event for the high quality cooperation of service trade and other dozens of cooperation, including service for life, business affairs and sci-tech. It is estimated that their contracted value will exceed 60 billion yuan.
Besides the signing of service trade deals, during the CIFTIS, Chaoyang district will hold a theme exhibition which will showcase the achievements and prospects on the application of cutting-edge technologies, including 5G, AI, blockchain etc.
The exhibition aims to demonstrate the district's remarkable effects on sci-tech innovation and highlights of smart city construction, said an official from Chaoyang District Commerce Bureau.
