MUST's Hengqin research institute to support Zhuhai

Macau University of Science & Technology (MUST) and the Zhuhai government will deeply cooperate regarding education, cutting-edge technologies, medicine, and cultural inheritance under an agreement signed on May 27. 

A Zhuhai Research Institute (Headquarters) of MUST will settle in Hengqin New Area to promote scientific and technological innovation. Joint education facilities will be built to cultivate talents with innovation, entrepreneurship, and creative capabilities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

On the cultural front, the two will research Zhuhai and Macao's historic culture and meanwhile host academic activities. They will both pledge full support to medical studies and treatment to boost the Greater Bay Area health industry.

MUST is a private university managed by a foundation and the first university established after the return of Macao. It also is the largest multi-disciplinary university in Macao and offers science, business, medicine, pharmacy, tourism, art, communications, and language courses. Shanghai Ranking Consultancy placed it 21st in the 2018 Ranking of Top Universities in Greater China.
