The city of Wuxi launched a new center for local internet organizations in Binhu district on May 24.
Hosted by the district's publicity department, the center aims to promote a healthy and sustainable cyber environment for netizens by providing professional training and promoting communication among social networks.
The service center already has many registered organizations such as Binhu District We Media Federation, which gathers social media accounts of local government departments, commercial and We-media organizations, and the non-profit cyber organization — "Speak your mind", which aims to provide a platform for people without a voice and contribute to public welfare.

Meanwhile, the 2019 Binhu District Cyber-culture Season got under way the same day. Cai Wenyu, deputy head of Wuxi municipal publicity department, Ni Shouhong, director of Binhu district's publicity department and a number of other government officials attended the event.
In celebration of the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the People's Republic of China, the cyber-culture season will organize five types of activities, including organizing network media interviews, experience programs for fans, live broadcasting events, and VLOG exhibitions.
