Shanghai Singapore International School (SSIS), which officially opened its doors in 1996, offers expatriate students aged 2 to 18 years old in Shanghai a continuous academic path.
SSIS offers an international curriculum for K-12 students.
The school's preschool and primary school curriculum is based on the rigorous Singapore Curriculum, and it includes the globally recognized IGCSE and IBDP Programmes. The SSIS STELLAR English Program and the unique Chinese language Programme CLASS Model to assist students from all walks of life to become proficient bilinguals.

It also offers Weekend Programmes which allow students to participate in activities they like or to take on new challenges.
