Baotou-based Inst Magnetics New Material Co recently saw breakthroughs in dependent research and development (R&D), with its rare earth permanent magnet products being sold around the world, according to a May 21 Baotou Daily report.
The company has magnet experts and an R&D team to develop rare earth permanent magnet materials, and its Halbach magnetic components can save 50 percent of magnets increase adsorption by 55 percent, and reduce costs by 40 percent. The materials are widely used in the keyboards of laptops around the world.
Inst Halbach PC magnetic components have been used by global customers such as Microsoft, Lenovo, and Huawei, and have begun to be mass-marketed in new notebook computers.
