Northeast China's Jilin showcased its culture during the 15th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industry Fair, which was held in Shenzhen, located in South China's Guangdong province, from May 16 to 20.
Themed on celebrations for the 70th anniversary of the birth of the new China, the province displayed its cultural achievements spread over the seven decades and promoted its key cultural companies and products during the event.
The Jilin exhibition area comprised four sections: one focusing on cultural products in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the new China, another on the fishing culture at Chagan Lake, the third exploring Changbai Mountain, with the fourth a section about ice and snow tourism.
Unique Jilin cultural items were showcased -- such as fishskin paintings and paintings drawn with spoons -- attracting a host of visitors from all over the country.
The cultural industry fair has been hailed as the "No 1 expo in China's cultural sector", and this year's event attracted exhibitors from more than 50 countries and regions from all over the world to promote their culture.
