Huangshi Daye Lake National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone

The predecessor of Huangshi Daye Lake National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone was the provincial-level Daye Economic Development Zone. It got the name of Huangshi Daye Lake High-Tech Zone in 2015. On Feb 28, 2018, it was upgraded to the national-level Huangshi Daye Lake National High-Tech Industrial Development Zone.

The zone is composed of the Luoqiao Industrial Park, Lingcheng Industrial Park, Huangjinshan Industrial Park, part of the urban areas of Huangshi city as well as several townships. It has six pillar industries including life science and healthcare, advanced equipment manufacturing, new materials, energy conservation and environmental protection, optoelectronic information and modern services.

The zone is located in Huangshi city in the south of the Yangtze River and the city's Huangshi Port is one of the hub ports along the river. It is also connected to the rest of the country through the Wuchang-Jiujiang Railway, four expressways and the neighboring Wuhan Tianhe International Airport.
