The nice weather in Harbin, capital city of Northeast China’s Heilongjiang province sparked the enthusiasm of hundreds of cyclists to test their power and physical fitness.
A bicycle race was held in Changlinghu Lake scenic area of Harbin on May 19, attracting participation of around 400 cyclists from 17 provinces, including those from Beijing, Liaoning, Jilin, Shandong, Jiangxi and Shanxi and Inner Mongolia.
Participants could choose from the elites’ and masters’ groups (36 kilometer), the women’s group (24km) and a normal group (12km).
The routes cover at least 12 km, providing participants a unique experience as the whole routes take along the banks of Changling Lake, which has stunning, mesmerizing scenery.
The race was held to promote the stunning scenery of Changling Lake and encourage mass participation of cycling activities.
