Students in Harbin now have an additional option when it comes to getting a high-quality international-standard education, after EtonHouse International Education Group opened another school in Qunli New Zone, in the wake of the debut of EtonHouse Pre-School Harbin Zhonghai, in Daoli district.
The Qunli kindergarten has a floor area of 3,587 square meters, and it can accommodate up to 300 students.
Since its opening in May, 2019, around 100 students have been rolled to avail themselves of a western-style education.
In addition to preschool education, EtonHouse is planning to provide education through primary school to high school, with the children of local expats as its main target market, as well as the children of overseas Chinese and Chinese students who plan to attend university abroad.
The EtonHouse educational group is based in Singapore and operates more than 100 international schools and preschools across Singapore, Hong Kong, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Myanmar and the Middle East. In Singapore, alone some 12,000 students from 61 different nationalities attend its schools.
The establishment of the school will provide a further service for local expats, helping Harbin attract highly-skilled foreign professionals to play a role in the social and economic development of the city.
