Pitch-perfect: Israeli quintet performs in Baotou

The Tel Aviv Wind Quintet from Israel gives a warmly received concert at Baotou Grand Theater in Baotou, in North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on May 10. The woodwind quintet is a form of chamber music that sprouted in Europe in the mid-18th century. The quintet was widely played in the courts of Western Europe. It features the combination of flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon and horn. It is considered the oldest form of chamber music in the world. [Photo/Baotou Evening News]
