Residents in Ningbo, East China's Zhejiang province, will have the chance to see tens of thousands of popular goods from more than 100 countries and regions on show in the city next week.
The 2019 China Cross-border E-commerce International Goods Expo and Zhejiang Import Goods Expo, co-hosted by the municipal government of Ningbo and the provincial department of commerce, will take place at the city's international convention center from May 24 to 26.
Covering an area of 18,400 square meters and with 900 booths set up, the expo will display a large variety of goods ranging from clothes, food and beverages to cosmetic products and home appliances.
Visitors can also have a free taste of popular foods from around the world, such as French desserts, lamb chops from New Zealand and ice-cream from Hong Kong.
A children's entertainment zone will also be available to celebrate the up-coming Children's Day, where there will be many fun toys for children to play with and for parents to purchase.
Many products will offer a discount of as much as 70 percent during the expo.
The expo is designed as a trade platform for e-commerce businesses at home and abroad, and to boost domestic consumption, said Chen Yirong, vice chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Ningbo Branch.
