A photo captures the splendor of the blooming flowers at Huayun peony garden in Lushunkou, Dalian, a city in North China's Liaoning province, on May 7. The peony garden covers an area of over 80 hectares. It is an agricultural demonstration base project with peony culture as its core, integrating agriculture, tourism and leisure. There are 300,000 peonies planted in the park, from more than 800 varieties. Park officials say it is the largest peony viewing area in northeastern China. [Photo provided to chinadaily.com.cn]
