Entrepreneurship finals begin at Shanxi University

The finals of the 4th "Yuanzhi Cup" Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition began on May 10 at Shanxi University.

Sponsored by the university's teaching affairs office, the science and technology office, and the graduate employment guidance center, the competition invited several entrepreneurs and the director of the Taiyuan High-tech Entrepreneurship Service Center to serve as judges.

After preliminaries and semi-finals, which began in March, 10 projects have qualified for the finals. Participants introduced their projects with a 6-minute PowerPoint presentation and Q&A.

The Department of Electronic Information Engineering won the competition with its intelligent flushing monitoring system for public toilets. Three projects from the School of Economics and Management were the runner-ups.
