Day 5: Huizhou

The Zhuhai-Huizhou bullet train takes two hours.

Huizhou West Lake Scenic Spot covers 20.91 square kilometers, oh which 3.13 sq km is water. Composed of West Lake and Honghua Lake, it features peaceful mountains and lakes with deep historical and cultural backgrounds.

Huizhou West Lake is known for its five lakes, six bridges and eighteen scenes. The main scenic spots at Huizhou West Lake include Sizhou Tower, the Bird Watching Pavilion, Flying Geese Mountain, and Fengshan Mountain, Lotus Pond and Jiuqu Bridge.

Then you can go to Honghua Lake Scenic Spot by foot or by bike. It features green mountains, lush trees, limpid rivers and natural fens. On the north of Honghua Lake lies Gaobang Mountain, with its overlapping ranges and greenery. It crawls around the lake like a dragon, elegant and graceful. Gaobang Mountain is citizens' top choice for hiking and fitness exercises.
