Day 4: Zhuhai
It takes about 90 minutes to get to Zhuhai by bullet train. After two days of being close to nature, you may want to do something exciting and unforgettable. Zhuhai has two places that make a deep impression: Zhuhai International Circuit and the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge.
Zhuhai International Circuit was established 20 years ago and is China’s first racing track that complies with international standards. Since street racing was introduced in 1993, Zhuhai has become the pioneer for Chinese motorsport racing and has built an international and professional racing management team. In 2005, Zhuhai International Circuit created the Pan Delta Super Racing Festival which after 12 years is now the most influential regional racing event.
The Pan Delta Super Racing Festival aims to create an entertaining and exciting motorsport event that every Chinese spectator will appreciate. Every year there are three weekends filled with exciting races, including a formula cars race, a touring cars race and motorcycle race. The Pan Delta Super Racing Festival is becoming the most influential branded motorsport event in Southern China. The spectators can watch various types of race cars speeding around the circuit. In the past 10 years, the exciting Pan Delta event, with its friendly carnival atmosphere, is hugely enjoyed by the fans and racing drivers.
The Pan Delta Super Racing Festival is held every March, June, and September. Do not miss such a grand event if you come here in these three months.
The Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge is a mega project connecting Hong Kong on the east bank of the Pearl River Delta to Zhuhai and Macao on the west bank. It provides a significant part of the Pearl River Delta regional transport loop, being a key new highway corridor. Here you can enjoy beautiful views of the city, the bridge and the sea.
