Day 3: Foshan

By taking the high-speed railway from Zhaoqing East Station, passengers can get to Foshan in 20 minutes. The most famous attraction in Foshan city is Xiqiao Mountain Scenic Area.

Due to its deep and unique culture, Xiqiao Mountain has the reputation of being “the beacon of the Pearl River civilization” and the “origin of the southern civilization”. In 1847, Huang Feihong, the famous martial master, was born in Xilushan village sown the Xiqiao Mountain. Xiqiao is the famous birthplace of Southern Fist and Southern Lion Dance.

Xiqiao Mountain is an extinct volcano that is 40 million years old. It has 72 peaks, beautiful natural scenery and profound cultural heritage. In the scenic area, you can observe the 61.9-meter-high statue of Avalokitesvara, and watch the kungfu moves and lion dance performances in Huang Feihong's movie.

Located in the foothills of Xiqiao Mountain, National Arts Studios is the world's first large comprehensive project integrating film and television, tourism, leisure and religion. It was fully opened to the public in July 2014.

The ancient architecture of National Arts Studios will take you back hundreds of years to the old dynasties, and Guangzhou Street, Hong Kong Street and Shanghai Street show the historical appearance and market style of those old times.
