Foreign artists take part in peony festival

A group of artists from more than 40 countries came to Yizheng, a county-level city of Yangzhou, Jiangsu province on May10, to participate in an invitational exhibition of water color paintings.

During the one-month event, the artists will take part in a series of activities including art exhibitions, outdoor sketching creation, artists' communication and interaction, and art lectures.

The event is an important part of the 2019 China Peony Festival which launched on May 2. The festival has been held for 11 successive years.
