Shenyang expo to promote architectural development

The 8th China (Shenyang) International Modern Architecture Industry Expo, which serves as a platform for displaying the latest development achievements of Liaoning province's industrial chain, will be held in Shenyang, capital of the northeastern Chinese province, from May 17 to 19.

Sponsored by the Liaoning Provincial Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, this year's three-day expo has the slogan "regional cooperation, innovative development". It will highlight scientific, innovative, and forward-looking architectural technology and products.

Several exhibition areas will be set up in four exhibition halls. There will be around 980 booths with a total exhibition area of 50,000 square meters.

The W1 pavilion will focus on the construction achievements of 14 cities in Liaoning since the founding of the People's Republic of China 70 years ago. The E1 pavilion will focus on new assembly-type construction technology, equipment manufacturing technology, construction machinery, and equipment.

The E2 pavilion will showcase new environmentally-friendly technology and products, such as smart cities and smart parking. W2 will feature a number of well-known domestic real estate companies and focus on green building and assembly-style construction.

Around 200 enterprises involved in product development, design, construction, parts production, building materials, and equipment production will participate in the expo.

The expo has been held seven times since it started in 2012. It plays an important role in promoting Liaoning's modern architectural development and expanding its influence nationwide.
