Set up in 1975, Liaoning Cancer Hospital, also known as Cancer Hospital of China Medical University and Dalian Medical University Clinical Oncology College, is a 3A-grade cancer hospital integrating cancer prevention and treatment, scientific research and teaching.

Currently, the hospital covers a total area of 43,000 square meters, employs 1,870 staff members and has 2,330 patient beds. It has more than 110 pieces of advanced equipment worth over one million yuan ($147,008) in total, including CT scanner, 3.0 MR, ECT, DR, DSA, and PET machine.

In terms of its departments, the hospital has 21 departments of surgical oncology, five departments of gynecolgical tumor, seven departments of medical oncology and five departments of radiology, as well as nine medical laboratories.

The hospital also pays attention to international exchanges and cooperation, and has established friendly relations with cancer centers in Japan, France, Serbia, Hungary, Turkey, Slovenia, South Korea and Canada.
