The Second Hospital of Dalian Medical University 

The Second Hospital of Dalian Medical University was set up in 1958 and is also affiliated to Dalian Medical University. It is a large-scale comprehensive 3A-grade hospital integrating medical treatment, scientific research and training.

Its inpatient department has 3,000 beds available. The annual number of discharged patients typically exceeds 126,000, and more than two million people visit its outpatient and emergency departments each year. It also has extensive advanced equipment, including GE spiral CT, DR, AU5, a linear accelerator, and a Siemens nuclear magnetic resonance detector.

Currently, the hospital has two national key disciplines, one national key specialty, five diagnosis and treatment centers in Liaoning province, as well as six key disciplines, 17 key specialties in the province, and 20 key disciplines in the city.

The hospital has also maintained dialogue and exchange with counterparts in countries and regions such as the United States, Canada, Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Japan.
