Music festival hits Wuxi New-gen Manufacturing Conference

Wuxi Taihu New City hosted the first Xuelang Music Festival on the evening of May 9, as part of the 2019 New-gen Manufacturing Conference, which was held on May 9-10.

Themed around "New industrialists, New plant, New industrial dream", the two-day conference has one main forum and about 20 sub-forums to discuss issues faced by Chinese manufacturing companies regarding digitization, networking and intelligence.

The music festival invited four popular musicians and bands, including popular band Escape Plan and Weng Dahan, a folk singer from Jiangsu province.

Weng's work for the theme song of this year's New-gen Manufacturing Conference stood out from over 1,000 participants and was performed at the show.

The evening drew to a successful conclusion with an affectionate response to the popular songs sung by Escape Plan. The audience chorused their most popular song The Brightest Star in the Night Sky.

"The music festival added fashion, innovation and vitality to the professional conference," said a director of the music festival. "We are glad to see the audience enjoy it and make 'Xuelang' an energetic cultural mark."
