Stunning show of cultural relics
The Grand Canal Cultural Relics Exhibition, unveiled at the Yangzhou Museum on May 3, displayed more than 300 relics from 23 cultural and art agencies along the canal, some with a history of 2,500 years old. These cultural relics allow visitors to understand their great influences on Chinese politics, economy, trade, science and technology, religion, culture and art over the centuries, and how they have nourished life on both sides of the canal.
