According to Xu Shuncong, director of Wenzhou human resources and social security bureau, Wenzhou and Italy both have advantages in industries such as advanced manufacturing and fashion. He hopes more people from Italy can join in the development of Wenzhou's economy and show their talent in the city.
Official figures show that since Wenzhou became a pilot city for China-Italy talent exchange and cooperation in March 2018, 12 groups of Italians have visited the Zhejiang city and 115 cooperation intentions have been reached. Over the past year, Wenzhou has introduced a total of 62 Italian professionals.
