Passengers with an intermodal transport ticket can travel from Zhuhai (Jinwan) Airport to downtown Hong Kong or Chek Lap Kok Airport via the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge (HZMB) starting May 6.
Tickets can be bought on WeChat account: gh_c6c487d11eed, the airport route priced at 220 yuan ($32.50) and the Mong Kok pass at 140 yuan ($20.70).
Passengers would first take an express bus at Zhuhai (Jinwan) Airport Bus Terminal to the HZMB Zhuhai Boundary Crossing Facilities. Nine trips are scheduled daily from 9:30 am to 7:30 pm, with a frequency of about 30 minutes.
Launch ceremony
After customs clearances, those bound for Hong Kong Airport can check in and ride in a seven-seat multi-purpose vehicle. They will be exempted from another clearance when passing Hong Kong Boundary Crossing Facilities. The entire journey will take about 75 minutes excluding clearance time.
Those destined for downtown Hong Kong can take shuttle buses to the Hong Kong Boundary Crossing Facilities and then transfer to Citybuses. Excluding clearance time, it will take them 105 minutes to arrive in Mong Kok Station.
Combined transport routes to Macao International Airport and downtown will open in July.
