Tongzhou to improve vocational education

The launching ceremony for the vocational education week in Tongzhou district was held in Tongzhou Technical Secondary School on May 6.

Programs such as poetry reading and singing were given at the ceremony, as well as individual deeds reports by craftsman Song Zhifeng, and labor model Sha Jian, who won the National May Day Labor Medal.

Tongzhou district has made great efforts to promote the development of vocational education, which bolsters the adjustment of industrial structure and economic development.

Meanwhile, vocational schools have made great contributions to employment and high-quality social development.

During the launching ceremony, the award ceremony was also held for the vocational college experience centers in Erjia town, Chuanjiang town, Shigang town and Pingchao town.

Fan Xiaoyan, deputy head of Tongzhou district, urged to deepen reform of vocational education and make greater contributions to social and economic development.

Fan expressed her hopes that vocational schools can improve quality and make more innovations on development modes.
