Sanya tech expo showcases latest technologies

The 2019 Sanya Science and Technology Expo sponsored by the Sanya municipal people's government was held at the international convention center of Sanya Bay Mangrove Tree Resort from May 4 to 6.

Models of advanced satellites, spacecrafts, manned submersibles, pure-electric roadsters, and unmanned sightseeing vehicles, as well as the M6 mobile scanning system were among the highlights at the expo, providing visitors an opportunity to interact and experience the charm and power of these new technologies.

Visitors were thrilled to interact with the newest gadgets that have developed from concepts to real products benefitting people's daily life.

A same-size model of "Hainan No 1" Optical Satellite is exhibited at the 2019 Sanya Science and Technology Expo. Three of them will be launched at the end of 2019 to protect fishermen in maritime fishing and accelerate maritime accident search and rescue missions. [Photo by Liu Liping/hinews.cn]
