Top 8 delicacies to eat in Xiamen

Eight delicacies in Xiamen entered the must-eat list recently released by Dianping.com, a Chinese group buying site, with 258 delicacies from 36 Chinese cities on the list.

Tong'an wrapped pork is a traditional dish in Xiamen's Tong'an district, now dubbed Xiang'an district.

Spread a piece of clean cloth into a bowl, put a piece of pernil into the bowl, sprinkle in shrimp meat, chopped Chinese chestnuts and shiitake mushrooms, then wrap them up with the cloth and put them into a food steamer.

The cloth is not unfolded until the dish is served and that's why it is called wrapped pork.
