The New Century Robotics Club from Quzhou New Century Elementary School brought home trophies for their achievements at the 2019 VEX Robotics World Championship held in Louisville, Kentucky, USA on April 20.
Two teams from the Quzhou Robotics Club took part in the event.
After fierce competition, one of the teams – named 7671C – beat out a number of other middle school teams from various countries.
Founded in 2010, the New Century Robotics Club has won every robotics competition it has participated in, from provincial to international-level.
The VEX Robotics Competition is a robotics competition for elementary to university students and was named the largest robotics competition in the world by Guinness World Records in 2018.
The 12th annual VEX Robotics World Championship, which lasted from April 28 to April 30, attracted over 30,000 participants, including more than 1,650 teams from 40 countries.
