Howard Johnson Hotel in Ulaanqab, Inner Mongolia autonomous region is a five-star hotel built with an initial investment of 1 billion yuan ($148.4 million). It opened in 2012 and was renovated the following year.

The hotel, which covers an area of 93,000 square meters, is divided into a main building and a VIP building with six areas used for functions including banquets, catering, and entertainment. It has 500 guest rooms, five restaurants offering different cuisines, one multimedia room, and five meeting rooms.

A dedicated VIP building contains 290 luxury suites, as well as staff dorms and administrative offices.
