A moment of levity among the characters in the stage version of the great Russian classic And Quiet Flows the Don, staged at the Harbin Grand Theater on April 28. The play was adapted from the landmark novel by Mikhail Sholokhov — winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1965 – which is regarded as one of the great works of Russian literature.
