Quzhou-made celadon items appeared at the Second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation held at the China National Convention Center in Beijing on April 27.
Celadon seat cards inspired by traditional Chinese screens, celadon beepers printed with symbols of good luck, and celadon decorative bridges with the renowned ancient Zhaozhou Bridge as their prototype were on display at the working luncheon for state leaders from 37 countries.
All those items and the celadon tea sets, art porcelains and vases displayed at the various important occasions during the forum were made by Quzhou-based Longquan Banxiantang Culture Development Co.
According to Tang Wei, founder of the Quzhou company, it took them two years to prepare for the event and each celadon article requires dozens of procedures.
Tang said that it is not the first time that their products have appeared at a national event.
Their celadon articles made appearances at the APEC China 2014, the 3rd Understanding China Conference, the G20 Summit in Hangzhou, the BRICS Summit in Hangzhou and the First Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation.
