It was announced at a press conference on April 28 that Hohhot, capital of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region, will hold the 7th Chinese Fairytale Festival at the same time as the 1st Inner Mongolia International Horse Culture Expo.
As one of the important activities to be held during the horse culture expo, the fairytale festival will consist of six types of rich and colorful cultural activities related to horse and grassland fairytales. They will add some artistic and cultural atmosphere to the 2nd China Horse Culture Festival and the 1st Inner Mongolia International Horse Culture Expo.
According to local media reports, the Chinese Fairytale Festival has been held six times, and its creative activities and colorful events have attracted millions of children from all over the country, including Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan.
This is the first time that a grassland fairytale festival has been held in the region. It will consist of free cultural and art activities, exhibitions, and more for citizens of all ages, showcasing the impressive achievements of children's literature and art in China, and enhancing cultural and artistic exchanges between Inner Mongolia and other parts of the country.
