A seminar on sound technology and an award ceremony for outstanding sound productions were held in Hohhot, capital of Inner Mongolia autonomous region, on April 27.
The event was hosted by the China Association of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (CAMPTE), the Inner Mongolia Radio Film and TV Bureau, and Inner Mongolia Film Group Co Ltd. It was organized by the sound committee of CAMPTE and the Inner Mongolia translation center for minority-language films.
Scholars, experts, and other representatives from film production companies, art universities, media organizations, and industrial institutions attended the event.
The event focused on topics such as sound production in films, training translators, evaluating sound effects, and sound amplifying technology.
This was the first time Inner Mongolia hosted the annual event, according to Zhuo Na, a deputy director of Inner Mongolia Film Group Co Ltd.
Zhuo said that the event could help build a platform to promote the integration of film industries and serve as a bridge for cooperation in Inner Mongolia.
With more cooperation, the translation quality of minority-language films could be improved and more local-language films could be produced.
