A tea tourism product created by the Hohhot Museum won gold at the 2019 Chinese Tourism Commodities Competition held in Yiwu, East China's Zhejiang province, on April 27.
The competition was hosted by the China Tourism Association and focused on products emphasizing local characteristics and culture.
A total of 3,291 products from Hong Kong and 29 other cities and provinces from across the country were submitted for consideration, and a total of 15 Inner Mongolian products made it to the final stage of the competition.
A product created by a culture company in Ordos won the bronze award.
The competition is a major part of the China International Tourism Commodities Fair. It was organized by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China along with the government of Zhejiang province.
