Global information and communications technology (ICT) giant Huawei recently opened a global training center in Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, local media reported on April 23.
Located in Binjiang district of Hangzhou, the 132,000-square-meter facility is equipped with cutting-edge technologies such as 5G, big data, cloud computing, internet of things and artificial intelligence.
The center looks to increase the digital talent pool by providing ICT training services to high-caliber personnel from more than 170 countries and regions around the world.
It is expected to receive more than 30,000 clients worldwide every year.
The Shenzhen-based company inked an agreement with Zhejiang province in 2017 to build the center.
