Shanxi libraries provide reading aids for blind people

Shanxi province equipped 11 local libraries with 5,000 intelligent reading devices on April 23 to help blind people read. 

Blind readers can use the devices for free by showing their ID cards and disability certificates, according to Wang Jianjun, curator of the Shanxi Library.

If groups of blind people need to use the devices, Shanxi Library will provide on-site and follow-up services to ensure they know how to use the devices, Wang added.
