More than 100 types of flowers from the Netherlands were showcased at the Sino-Dutch flowering bulbs expo held at Dalian Yinggeshi Botanical Garden on April 20.
Luo Dongsheng, vice mayor of Dalian municipal government, attended the opening ceremony launched at 10 am.

The flowers on display, spanning approximately 120,000 square meters, mainly includes tulip, hyacinth, allium giganteum, lily, begonia bulb, and lupinus, of which about three million of them are tulips.

Jointly held by Chinese Society for Horticultural Science of flowering bulbs, and royal Dutch seedball chamber of commerce, the exhibition was designed by the most famous landscape firm from the Netherlands, and was personally directed by renowned British horticultural master, thus the expo will embody the world's most advanced horticultural culture and techniques, showcasing a world-class standard.
Tulips have gradually entered their florescence since April 15, and the expo will last until May 20.
