Growth in the industrial economy remained steady in Baotou, North China’s Inner Mongolia autonomous region, with the income of industrial enterprises above a designated size increasing by 11.4 percent year on year over the first two months of 2019, according to a Baotou Daily report on April 22.
The growth rate was 6.1 percentage points higher than the national average and 6 percentage points higher than the autonomous region’s average.
The growth rate of the industrial added value is expected to reach 12 percent in the first quarter of 2019 – a huge improvement over the same period last year.
