Founded in April 1928, The China National Travel Service (HK) Group Corporation is China’s largest travel group and a State-owned enterprise under the direction of the State-Owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. The group is engaged in tourism, industrial investment (iron and steel), real estate development and logistics trade, providing a comprehensive qualified service marking its predominance within the industry. Its leading position was strengthened through mergers with China Merchants International Travel Co and China Travel Company in 2005 and 2007 respectively.

HKCTS Metropark Hotels Management Co Ltd operates over 150 hotels with its own brands as Metropark and Travelers Inn, situated in major cities and attractive holiday regions within Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macao, as well as overseas.

HKCTS invests in and operates various tourist attractions, theme parks and resorts including the Window of the World, Splendid China, and the Ocean Spring Resorts in Zhuhai, Qingdao, and Xianyang.

HKCTS also provides other tourism services such as transportation and performance arts. China Travel Tours Transportation Services HK Ltd is one of the largest cross-border bus companies in Hong Kong. China Heaven Creation International Performing Arts Co Ltd has developed series of entertainment representing high standards of tourism performance. It is pioneering the Chinese culture industry to go abroad having brought The White House Theatre in Branson, US, and staged the show “The Legend of Kungfu” there on an on-going basis. HKCTS is also uniquely authorized to provide ‘Home Return Permit’ and ‘Taiwan Compatriot Pass’ services in Hong Kong.

In real estate, HKCTS is positioned as a development operator for tourist destination, holiday resorts, urban residential and commercial property distributed in central cities and economically developed areas in China, such as Shanghai, Shenzhen, Suzhou, Shenyang, and Qingdao.
