A total of 5,365 companies from Zhejiang province are showcasing their quality products at the 125th China Import and Export Fair that is underway in Guangzhou, the capital of South China's Guangdong province.
The event, also known as the Canton Fair, is China's largest trade fair. This year's edition, which opened on April 15 and will last until May 5, has attracted 25,500 enterprises from home and abroad.
Zhejiang, as a major exporter in East China, has 11,792 exhibition booths at the expo. Most of the products presented by Zhejiang companies feature independent intellectual property (IP) rights and patents, high technologies and low carbon.
To better showcase high-quality products from the East China province through different activities, the Zhejiang delegation will organize two promotion events at the exhibition hall on the sidelines of the trade fair.
The protection of IP rights and patents is a priority for the Zhejiang delegation at the fair. A special working group was established ahead of the event to check and investigate if companies have infringement actions or trade disputes. Moreover, the delegation invites experts to offer on-site IP guidance and service to Zhejiang exhibitors during the fair.
