2nd Jiangsu Development Summit to launch in May

The second Jiangsu Development Summit, returning two years after its flagship edition, will open in Nanjing, the provincial capital, on May 20. 

The day also marks the opening of the first Global Jiangsu Entrepreneurs Convention. 

Aimed at enhancing mutual connections and exchanges, the summit will engage 1,500 renowned Jiangsu natives living at home and abroad and foreigners dedicated to the all-round development of Jiangsu. Participants will come from eight diverse fields including industry and commerce, science and technology, and education. 

An upgraded edition, the summit will strive to build a useful and communicative network among domestic and overseas Jiangsu natives. 

Entrepreneurs, especially those living overseas, will have leading roles in the event. The summit says that it will highlight the entrepreneurs' longing for Jiangsu, and help them integrate talent and capital before realizing cooperative possibilities in areas such as business, scientific research, education, medical and health services, and culture. 

For entrepreneurs willing to start businesses in Jiangsu, the summit and the local government will offer solid policy support.
