China Electronic Technology Group Corporation (CETC) is a backbone State-owned enterprise in China. It was officially established in March 1, 2002. The company occupies 48 secondary member units and eight listed companies distributed over 26 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities. In 2017, CETC realized its main business revenue of 204.18 billion yuan ($32.05 billion) and profit of 20.3 billion yuan, and entered the Fortune Global 500.
With sixteen years of rapid development, CETC has become the only large-scale technology corporation in China covering all fields in electronic information. It is the most powerful national central corporation in the fields of defense electronics, security electronics and informatization with markets in more than 110 countries and regions. The defense electronics are grouped in seven main products systems, which are respectively air base early warning, integrated electronic information, radar, communication and navigation, electronic warfare, UAV electronic equipment and integrated IFF. The field of security electronics and information includes public security, e-government, intelligent transportation, new energy, components and other products and businesses.
